There’s something special about a stay that feels both restful and inspiring, the kind of place where you can slow down, and still be steps away from everything you love about coastal New Brunswick.
That’s exactly how I felt during my stay at this beautiful minimalist cottage in Saint Andrews-by-the-Sea. I spent a few days here last year around Christmastime, and it truly felt like stepping into a winter Hallmark movie. The streets were lined with twinkling lights, the shops were full of festive charm, and the whole town had that cozy, small-town magic that makes the season feel extra special.
A Cottage That Feels Like a Deep Breath
The first thing you notice when you walk in is the light. The space is filled with sunshine from morning to afternoon, making every corner feel warm and peaceful even on a crisp winter day.
Mornings at the breakfast table were my favourite part, with sunlight pouring through the windows, coffee in hand, and the quiet hum of Saint Andrews just starting to wake up outside.

The design is simple but thoughtful, with clean lines, soft tones, and cozy textures that make the space feel instantly welcoming. There’s even a perfectly pink reading chair tucked in the corner, made for curling up with a blanket and a good book while snow falls softly outside.
Perfectly Placed in Saint Andrews
This cottage is just a short walk from the main street, close enough to wander downtown for coffee, dinner, or a stroll along the waterfront. Around Christmas, Saint Andrews feels like a storybook village. We spent our evenings walking under glowing string lights, window shopping, and enjoying the festive atmosphere that fills every corner of town.
We loved being able to park the car and explore on foot, grabbing treats from local bakeries, watching the tides shift, and soaking in the cozy coastal charm that Saint Andrews does so well.

A Cozy, Minimalist Escape by the Sea
With three bedrooms, this space is ideal for a winter weekend with friends, a family stay-cation, or a quiet retreat before the holidays. It balances style and comfort beautifully, minimalist design that still feels warm and lived-in, with thoughtful touches that make it easy to settle in.
If you’re looking for a stay that combines clean design, natural light, and the peaceful charm of a seaside town at Christmas, this Saint Andrews cottage is one you’ll want to remember.
